Virginia, 2021. Honor Flight Event
This was supporting the Honor Flight of veterans going to Washington, DC, the second Honor Flight group we have supported this fall.
This groups was leaving from the Loudoun County Senior Center in Sterling, Virginia. While at the event we met a veteran on the Honor Flight who was a VASSAR member, but has moved from his chapter area and we were able to assist him to transfer to a new VASSAR Chapter being Chartered near his current location.
This was an excellent opportunity to provide awareness on the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution and we proudly carried our new 250th NSSAR Anniversary flag. We will be adding some of the Honor Flight & Red Cross volunteers we work with to our list of potential awards for supporting the 250th program.
Very Respectfully,
